Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Slay Squad Calculator (the “Calculator”) at slaysquad-calculator.hp-delta.com, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

1. The service

Slay Squad Coaching (“Slay Squad,” “we,” “us”) provides the Calculator as a free educational tool. The Calculator estimates raw-vs-cooked food weights and macronutrient targets based on USDA-published data and standard predictive equations (Mifflin-St Jeor BMR, ACSM activity multipliers).

2. Not medical advice

The Calculator is not medical advice, not a prescription, and not a substitute for professional consultation. The numbers it produces are mathematical estimates based on population averages. Your individual metabolism, health conditions, and goals may differ.

Do not use the Calculator to:

• Replace medical care for any condition.
• Self-treat eating disorders, hormonal conditions, or any other medical issue.
• Make decisions about pregnancy, breastfeeding, or pediatric nutrition without a qualified clinician.
• Guide nutrition for athletic competition without coach supervision.

If your calculated calorie target is below your BMR, or feels uncomfortable, stop and talk to a coach or your physician. Slay Squad's coaching philosophy is to raise metabolic rate through training, sleep, stress, and hormone work, not to push calories aggressively low.

3. Accuracy disclaimers

USDA Cooking Yields Release 2 and FoodData Central are public-domain sources. They are averages. Your specific cut, stove, doneness, and packaging may differ by several percent. For packaged foods, always defer to the label.

Grass-fed-vs-grain-fed adjustments are based on peer-reviewed averages (van Vliet et al., Daley et al.). Individual products may differ.

We do not guarantee the Calculator is error-free. We will fix material errors when we find them.

4. SMS consent

By submitting your phone number, you consent to receive coaching-related text messages from Slay Squad. See the Privacy Policy for full TCPA disclosures. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Calculator for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit false or misleading information into the lead form.
• Attempt to access non-public parts of the system.
• Reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or rebrand the Calculator.
• Misrepresent your relationship with Slay Squad.

6. Intellectual property

The Calculator design, brand, copy, and code are owned by Slay Squad Coaching. The USDA data is public domain. The Mifflin-St Jeor equation is published research used per attribution norms.

You may share the public Calculator URL freely. You may not copy, modify, or rehost the Calculator without written permission.

7. No warranty

The Calculator is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Calculator will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slay Squad and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Calculator, including but not limited to damages for personal injury, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if Slay Squad has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event will Slay Squad's total liability exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) or the amount you paid Slay Squad in the past twelve months for the Calculator, whichever is greater. The Calculator is free, so this typically means $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slay Squad from any claim arising from your misuse of the Calculator, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Calculator after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force.
